They discuss the Transportation Benefit District the County Commission just held a hearing on and voted to bring into existence. The goal is to increase funding for the county to keep up with road maintenance and construction, which continues to be more expensive as revenues to fund it remain flat. Some are working with the Jefferson Timber Collective which is working with local foresters, sawyers and makers, to provide materials and local timber to GROW local businesses.
