P.D. purchased both the Chimacum gas station (aka Templetons) and the Port Hadlock Liquor Store. He’s all about customer service and is combining the two franchises into a venue where you can gas up, buy chicken and even shop for liquor. It’s a very California concept where the liquor stores really are the convenience stores.

Northwinds Arts Center February Exhibit: Mary Ann Lambert

(first airdate: February 23, 2016) Ta-kwt (To Shine a Light on Something)  For February, the Northwinds Arts Center features Mary Ann Lambert, a local historian of the S’Klallam people of Dungeness and Port Gamble. Exhibits include information about Lambert and her documentation of life of the S’Klallam people in the Olympic Peninsula, as well as art from S’Klallam artists expressing their heritage.   A new book Dungeness by Karen Polinsky, is an historical novel of a character much like Mary Ann Lambert.
