Join host Jim Burke and a rotating roster of co-hosts for discussions about what is going on with Jefferson County Government and the work they do for the county. Similar in format to Brewocracy Now! that addresses the City of Port Townsend, County Connections features a different County commissioner each week, along with special guests from County departments or the community.

This week on County Connections, Co-hosts Jim Burke and Commissioner Heidi Eisenhour welcome Becca Maurer, Senior Code Compliance Specialist with JeffCo. Public Health, and Patrick Hart, a case manager with Discovery Behavioral Health.
They discuss what happens if there is a violation of code compliance on a proprty in the county (excess garbage, rusting cars, leaky septic system. The county, in addition to the evaluation, notification, and assessing possible penalties, seeks to help property owners in non-compliance, to work with Discovery Behavioral Health and provide services that help reach compliance.
SMART GOALS (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound,) provide a framework to work toward that goal
